There comes a day when you have to be brave..
For what you wanted to be..
For your goals..
For your vision..
And eventually for giving and making value for others..
Just wanna share my experience as a Junior Veterinarian; well a lot of people will call me that, judging by my age hehe :)
Eurasia stands for Europe and Asia; so it's a Europe and Asia veterinary conference.
There was once a time, when I browsed and found out about this conference. I'd really wanted to go there. But my wish was not granted at that time. So I was taking another veterinary conference, named VRVC a Regional Veterinary Conference held by association of Thailand's veterinarian.
It was my first time attending the conference abroad. But, a lot of vet from Indonesia were there too. So it wasnt so nerve wrecking for me.. Since for me, it was still in my comfort zone. But it was so different with this conference.. I have no friends attending this Eurasia conference. I have to take flight by myself (I rarely fly). It was so nervewrecking... I was almost decided not to submit the registration..
But, yeahh I have to take this big step. Of course with a lot support from my closest..
Finally submit the registration, arrange the flight, blaa, blaa, blaaa...
Then guess what?!
My flight has been cancelled because of the Mt. Kelud's issue.. The volcano eruption, remember???
I was so worried, since tomorrow the conference will be held. So I have to book another ticket.. and fly at night.. At the arrival airport, I was taken by the immigration... Ouchhh.. What did I do wrong?? I guess its my worst day everr...
But I wasnt late at the conference the next day.. But I amm so amazedddd yet so nervousss..
I was like a dwarf in the middle of giant (because they were so tall).. Yup, there miight be only 10 Asian veterinarian out of maybe 100 or more veterinarian. And I might be the youngestt...
Ouchh its so damn stressiingg.. And lowering my self esteemm..
But I did make new friends and having good times there....
That was me, and the other vet from Singapore, Australia, Canada, and England..
We had good times during the 5 days conference...
One of them even have a really good time playing the JET PACK thingss!!! hahahaha
And that was a dinner party looks like... Yeah imagine that I was the youngest on that table,,, Surrounding by these successful veterinarian, practice owner from all over the world.. Made me think of how small I am..
Those people are the tutors, from the LMU Univesitait Muenchen..
And here are some tutorial that I took with my camera phone during the session.. But the rest, was in what I called my magic note bookk hehhee...
Well... Eventually, I could say that IT WAS GREAT JOURNEY!!
I hope my story could inspire all of you out there, to put away your fear.. Take a big step in your life, and get out of your comfort zone...
Good Day!! :)
